I Love This...

I want to see you.

Know your voice.

Recognize you when you
first come 'round the corner.

Sense your scent when I come
into a room you've just left.

Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.

Become familiar with the way
you purse your lips
then let them part,
just the slightest bit,
when I lean in to your space
and kiss you.

I want to know the joy
of how you whisper
"more."

She's Baaaaaaaaaaaaack! (Almost)

Boy, this place has changed in three years. Hard to believe it's been that long. I hope it's like riding a bicycle...

I've missed you too, Quid. :)

The Graduate

What a kid! I couldn't be prouder of Marc. To know him is to love him. If you spent an hour with him you'd wonder if his degree was in Computer Science, Philosophy, English Literature, or Pre-law. He has a huge heart that's 100% pure gold and a disposition to match.

He deserved a life surrounded by family in abundance who loved, encouraged, supported, praised, and burst with pride at all he did. He deserved grandparents who lived long enough to spoil him rotten and tell him he's a genius for every little thing he did. He deserved more than just my voice.

I'm so glad that he and Brett are best friends and that they have each other. They make this mom so proud!

Marc should have heard more than his brother and I scream after his name was called at graduation -- AND THAT HE DID! Thank goodness for his wonderful, loving friends.

I've got the greatest kids on earth! I'm one lucky mom! :)

I wish you could really see this video. I was just too excited and the camera went everywhere, but at least you can hear his friend's cheer, who, by the way, were on the other side of the Civic Center from Brett and I. The second screams are ours. I know not to give up on my day job to become a videographer.

Seasons Greetings!

This is my favorite Seasons Greetings TV Spot of all time. I don't know why it's no longer shown, because it's as wonderful today as it was when I first saw it 43 years ago. To those who have never seen it, you're in for a treat. ~Enjoy.

Just My Opinion...

I wasn't even searching for Queen or Freddie Mercury today, but this came up just the same. There is talented, super-talented ... and far above all that, there is gifted. I personally define gifted as being born with an extreme and uncanny ability that comes from one's soul.

Had I been searching, I probably would have picked a different song, but you get no argument from me on this one.

Freddie Mercury was absolutely gifted. He is one of music's greatest losses, for he took too much of his legacy with him.

Just my opinion...
