Document Searches and Found Poetry...

I found this while searching for another document. I wrote it years ago. It was just a thought process that took my mind to a "what if" place one day. I'm not sure it can really be called poetry, but here it is no matter what you call it!

Tell Me...

Why do you only look when you can touch?
Why do you imagine when you can experience?

Your thoughts can't touch the softness of my skin
or feel how perfectly our lips meet.
Your mind will never comprehend
the sensation of having me.

You won't experience the fire inside you
as I explore you with my tongue,
or feel the warmth of my mouth
when I ultimately taste you.

How can you feel me reach deep inside your soul
to accept who you really are?

I share your curiosity
and desire to explore,
but you'll never smile at how playful I am
or love how much fun life can be...

Why do you imagine when you can experience?
Why do you only look when you can touch?

I like it too. I'm glad, though, that I didn't read it while away at work.:)

And I repeat...Wow.

Don't think you've shared this before. I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off and missed this. Caught up today.

I thought it was amazing. Sensual and contemporary.
