Bring on the Rain...

I've often referred to this wonderful gem by JoDee Messina as my theme song. Right now it applies to the weather here in South Florida as well as my overly-stressed life. I was recently given some new medication, which caused some side effects. Unfortunately, I didn't attribute the side effects to the medication until two weeks later. I have this terrible habit of ignoring pain, fever, excessive bleeding, and other little stuff. I finally called the doctor's office on Friday advising them of my little annoyances. They told me to stop taking the medication and call them back on Monday to let them know how I feel. Say, why didn't I think of that??

The medication was definitely causing the problems, but I still feel like crap. I'm hoping it's just a matter of a few more days to get it out of my system. I'm tired of feeling like crap. It's adding to my stress, which is the last thing I need, especially now. I'll see what the doctor says tomorrow, but what I really want, is to wake up tomorrow morning feeling like a new person! I'll happily accept a healthy same-old person!

Enjoy my song...

Wow, I'm sorry this happened. I do the same with doctors...don't really question much, and I should. I hope they find a better "elixer" for you. Loved the video!

Never, never, never again will I ignore any changes after starting a new medication! I don't care if I get a hang nail!

My doctor is on vacation. (He has a hell of a nerve!) I'll call the office again on Thursday, but if my abdomen is still distended, I'll see his associate on Friday. I think it may be a little smaller, but...

No jaundice - that's good! The bleeding stopped by the next day - also good! I think the headaches are less intense, but I'm not sure. I'm being impatient, I want to feel perfect already!!

Donna,

How are you feeling now? When I read what you shared in your post, I was/am concerned about you.

Raven, thank you. I'm still having problems. Now there's something wrong with my leg. I thought it was an infection. Now I don't know what it is, but it hurts and it's NOT normal! My doctor comes back on Tuesday and I'll see him then.

I'm not happy, but his associate called in an antibiotic for me, which didn't help my leg, but did help with the other symptoms I had! I hope I'll be even better after I see my doctor on Tuesday, having nothing to do with how cute I think he is. :) (But married ... sigh.)

Thanks again, Raven.

Thanks, Kelly! I can't seem to get a handle on this infection in my leg. I'm not sure why, but it sure is dragging me down.

But as the song goes, tomorrow's another day! :)
